Those of you who have been using the iOS TestFlight builds recently will have noticed a particularly large regression in user-perceived article load time. This is not related to the network request that gets the article, but is actually related to the way the app stores the data it gets.

Some of the iOS engineering team and myself will be meeting tomorrow to discuss specific action items for fixing this, and working on this next sprint. We need to get this fixed before we get a production release.
