I was thinking more about people for whom a laptop / tablet in addition to their phone would be cost prohibitive, but a keyboard like this perhaps affordable, especially as a family could share to some degree.

IMO nah.

This might catch on in a tablet world but I personally couldn't imagine it being used in a mobile world. If I have a table or other surface to work off of I might as well use a laptop. I personally have a habit of forgetting/losing my headphones so having a portable keyboard is just not going to happen for me.

That said some people use tablets as cameras. That's not me, so maybe there is a niche group of people this will appeal to but I don't expect to see this taking off in SF any time soon.

I think we're all aware of the challenges of editing on mobile, especially when it comes to long-form editing.

Does the device in the following video make anyone else feel hopeful about the future of long-form edits on mobile?
