They are exactly the same. mobile predates m and only exists to service older users who may have it bookmarked.
As you say these should probably redirect and according to Tomasz Finc we are already working on this - there is an open RT ticket. \o/
We have a links to both xy.m.wikipedia.org
and xy.mobile.wikipedia.org in the Main Page.
However, they seem to lead to the same
backend. Is there any difference between
both mobile versions?
What's the support status of them?
Note that the SSL certificate for
https://*.mobile.wikipedia.org/ is 'wrong'.
Is *.mobile.wikipedia.org deprecated in
favor of *.m.wikipedia.org ?
Should *.mobile.wikipedia.org 301 to
*.m.wikipedia.org ?
