Hello !
My problem is when I try to make a search with a wildcard, the search engine doesn't return me any page. For example, if I search "to*", the search engine won't return me any solution, and I know "tools" page exists.
I've experimented the same problem on MediaWiki 1.16 beta1 and on 1.15.3, with and without semantic mediawiki enabled. I'm using IE8 (yes it's a shame, but the users are not interested in changing their habits...) on WinXP, and my server is managed by XAMPP 1.7.2.
Could you explain me what could be the origin of tthe problem, so I could correct it ?
Regards
I'd guess it's due to the "less than 4 letters search fail". Mysql is often configured to ignore search with less than 4 letters and you must change that parameter.
