Hello, I have a problem with my MediaWiki: I enabled the uploads but everytime I try to upload a file, it tells me that the server cannot write in the upload directory (public). I thought /images was the default upload folder and I chmoded it to 777 but no way. Any idea?

More information: upload is enabled on my server (1and1.fr) and it's sure because phpmybrowser allows it. I really don't know what to do, all my searches on mediawiki website are useless :-(

vérifie que tous les répertoires à l'intérieur de /images soient bien en chmod 777 tu pourrais nous donner le message exact de l'erreur ?

En fait, je n'avais aucun répertoire dedans. /images est bieng en 777. Je viens d'essayer d'y mettre un /images/public en 777, j'ai remarqué une petite étoile orange qui gigote une fois que j'ai choisi le fichier à envoyer mais toujours la même erreur :-(
tu pourrais nous donner le message exact de l'erreur ?
C'est en occitan : Error intèrna. Lo servidor Web pòt pas escriure dins lo repertòri cibla (public). (en clair, erreur interne, le serveur web ne peut pas écrire dans le dossier cible (public).
