Is is possible to upgrade the user interface to provide a better revert/restore interaction then the following?

I'm hoping to see something like a "revert" link in the page history and/or a "revert" link in the view-the-old-page-revision-content display.
I'm running 1.4.0; maybe this has already been added in later revisions?
The edit-the-old-revision-and-save-it approach seems to be unintuitive for my users (and for me).

There are extra handy 'rollback' links in diff view and contributions list for users logged in with a sysop account.
This does the same thing in effect as edit-the-old-revision-and-save-it.

It dates back a couple years.

Hi there, I've looked everywhere for a piece of software that uploads many images and descriptions to MediaWiki quickly. I remember seeing the link somewhere, but I cannot find it anymore, Anyone?

Not sure if this is only for Wikimedia Commons, or if this can be used at other wikis. Hope this helps, Cheers
