Hello all,
As the web master of my wiki many people have been contacting me with questions about how
our wiki is indexed by Google (and other search engines). However, I have not really been
able to supply good answers to any of them so I am asking here... obviously. ;)
How exactly is MediaWiki indexed by Google in its out-of-box state (no extensions, etc.)?
Does it create meta-tags or anything for each page?
Thanks a million!
i have a follow up question: is there an extension that (easily) adds indexed search to an
internal wiki?
