Where can I find the newuserlog extension? I've checked Meta, and left a message on the creator's talk page, but to no avail. Searching the archives here hasn't turned up any working urls either.

New subject: [Mediawiki-l] Newuserlog

Ok people. I know you're all probably really annoyed about me being here because I seem to be useless. I am new to this and joined this mailing list to get help on setting up MediaWiki, so far I have been really un-successful - I've read and re-read the instructions and I still cant figure out what I'm doing wrong, can somebody PLEASE help me. www.startrekprotection.com/wiki Jono

Your hosting provider's redirecting /config to their administration panel. That wouldn't be a problem if MediaWiki didn't seem to be confused about where it was installed. For instance, accessing http://www.startrekprotection.com/wiki/config/index.php continues to produce the "please set up MediaWiki" link, which takes the user to http://www.startrekprotection.com/wiki/config/config/index.php. Are there URL rewriting schemes installed? If so, disable them for the duration of the installation. You might need to ask for support from the provider if you can't figure that bit out. Rob Church

Where not sure on if DirectAdmin has URL Rewriting schemes and our host (HostPC) doesnt seem to be answering at the moment. On the Index file in the Config file it says - An error occured while writing the config/LocalSettings.php file. Check user rights and disk space then try again. ?? Ok they reckon I need to go into the .htaccess file to disable the URL Rewriting schemes - does anybody have an idea on how to do this? The extension was upgraded some time after the 1.5.8 release, and is no longer backwards compatible with that version. Step back through Subversion to find a version that works. Rob Church
