Hello Is there a discussion forum out there with a lot of Media WIki users on it? Seems like it might be an efficient way to ask questions and discuss the project.

Discussion happens mainly on the mailing list, on various pages on meta (http://meta.wikimedia.org), and on IRC (#mediawiki on freenode)
