Is there an interface out there somewhere that will allow and existing mediawiki site to function within a SharePoint environment (forgive me for mentioning an MS product among open sourcers).
I know of http://blogs.tamtam.nl/mart/TamTamWikiSharePointBeta1ForWSSAndSPS.aspx
but it is pretty early in its development. Don't think it will allow the import of an existing wiki.

What is it, and what would "functioning within" one entail?
Are you trying to share login data with some external system? Would an AuthPlugin be an appropriate thing for you to do?
