Sounds right, as I started generating these when I browsed. It's not
happening for every page, just some.
I'll filter them out.
Here's what I'm using so far:
if (strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],"&action=raw")==0)
{
$my_query = "INSERT INTO LogTable (Who, What, Where, Article,
ArticleOptions, theWhen) values
('".$_SERVER["REMOTE_ADDR"]."',
'".$_SERVER["HTTP_USER_AGENT"]."',
'".gethostbyaddr($REMOTE_ADDR)."',
'".Beforetext($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],"?")."',
'".Aftertext($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'],"?")."',
'".date("Y-m-d G:i:s")."')";
$my_result = mysql_query ($jab_query);
}
(the functions Beforetext and Aftertext are in an .include file.)
If anyone spots any issues with this code/approach, please enlighten me.

I've just hacked in a "Pages
Visited" logging system into my website,
both the wiki and the non-wiki sections.
Below is a partial dump of the early loggings, and my question is should
I be concerned about the entries that include URIs that have things like:
title=-&action=raw&gen=js
title=MediaWiki:Monobook.css&action=raw&ctype=text
title=-&action=raw&gen=css
There are the embedded stylesheet and javascript the wiki uses. They're
perfectly normal, and you should expect to see them pulled by any
visitor to the site.
? These are coming from an IP that isn't
generating other "normal" page
requests (192.122.250.250)
Sounds oddish, but this might be due to hitting previously-cached pages
or a problem with your logging.
