By blank page, do you mean it is timing out and then displaying nothing?
If so I'd check out the IRC channel. You'll find good advice there.
Basically, if this is the case, you need to comment out some extraneous
things to get under the timeout limit of your server.

And try the file in a browser.
It should display the PHP version running on the server.
