A question. We are using mediawiki in our intranet, but our very kind administrators want to change because they are not able to have efficient user right management. Any experience about it? Any experience in LDAP interfacing?

I use fckeditor on wmf-deployment and it works. In fact I'm using it in conjunction with the Usability Initiative extension/editor. If you want fckeditor for 1.12 you'll have to get an old version of it that supports the old preprocessor.
Yeah, I want the shiny new stuff in FCK :-) It's actually decent WYSIWYG now. (Even if it doesn't implement *all* the whacky stuff people do with wikitext on English Wikipedia, for example.)
So pulling wmf-deployment is a suitable thing to do? I'd rather wait for a 1.16 package, but I've seen the wikitech-l discussions about how that's not really ready for a tarball yet.
