i made a softlink to the mediawiki directory, with 1.4rc1 it works, and with 1.4.4 it says: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: initencoding() in /home/wiki/fr.wiki/includes/Setup.php on line 288
when going to the main page. what could be the cause for that? whatfor is the "require_once( "$IP/languages/Language.php" );", or how do you expect to link it together?
