I don't know. It seems like there are still problems with spam, but maybe that
perception is incorrect. Are you saying that there are already good solutions (for wikis)
which do not require many man-hours and dedicated staff to maintain and that some wiki
admins just haven't stumbled upon yet? The Check Spambots extension is still in beta
so I am wondering what successful extensions have been used previously... or is that
extension the answer to all of our concerns? Could the wiki community not be helped with
a more specialized form of spam lists? After all, there are many kinds of spam lists
anyways.
Is there really nothing more that can be done?
