Sorry, this was my error: In the dump file I was looking at
"AmericanSamoa", which was redirected to
"American Samoa" (2002-02-25) and then -- already as a redirect link
-- it was edited again (2005-07-03 and later).
All those edits should appear there no matter how old
the file is,
