Have a look at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Yes - that should
answer your questions - especially if you view the source.

Subject: [Mediawiki-l] Wikipedia like tables
Hi,
I've create a table at
http://www.expath.org/wiki/Engines, and
I would like to use Wikipedia-like cell features, like for
instance the green and red cells for yes and no in:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_issue_tracking_systems
I've tried to use the same syntax (using {{yes}}) but that does
not work. The string "Template: Yes" is displayed in red
instead.
I guess I must install some templates? I looked for into both
Mediawiki and Wikipedia sites, but I did not find anything. Any
clue?
Thanks in advance, regards,
