Looking at
http://www.sphinxsearch.com/doc.html, it appears that sphinx itself
takes care of any collisions due to concurrent searches. I would have to say
that even though I haven't looked into it any deeper yet, my personal
experience tells me that it's correct. Our wiki with over 300 active users
searching on a regular basis has never seen any issues.
