Since upgrading to MediaWiki 1.17.0, I'm seeing a host of new warnings in Firefox's 3.6's error console, attributed to mediawiki.legacy.commonPrint:
Warning: Expected 'important' but found 'ie'.
Source File: http://mywiki.net/w/load.php?debug=false&lang=en&modules=mediawiki.legacy.c…
Line: 1
and various others. Are these bugs or a misconfiguration on my end?
Thanks,
DanB
I am trying to port my extension to use ResourceLoader and I can't seem to make it work. In my .php file I have:
$wgResourceModules['ext.StarRating'] = array
(
'scripts' => 'js/starrating.js',
'styles' => array('css/ui.stars.css',
'css/starrating.css',
),
'dependencies' => 'jquery.ui.core',
'localBasePath' => dirname( __FILE__ ),
'remoteExtPath' => 'StarRatings',
);
$wgHooks['BeforePageDisplay'][] = 'StarRating::setupDOM';
and in my _body.php file I have:
static function setupDOM(&$out, &$skin) {
$out->addModules( 'ext.StarRatings' );
return true;
}
When I hit the page and View Source, I see:
mediaWiki.loader.load(["mediawiki.util", ........., "ext.StarRatings", ........
so I would think my resource being loaded. But none of the JavaScript & CSS are taking effect on the page. Am I doing something obviously wrong?
Thanks,
DanB

Hello
Could someone look at these two templates
http://opinionforge.fr/wikiof/index.php/Mod%C3%A8le:A_Text_A_Table_in_Two_B…
and
http://opinionforge.fr/wikiof/index.php/Mod%C3%A8le:Two_Tables_in_Two_Boxes…
These templates enclosed 3 Levels of tables
At level-1 there is a big table
At level-2 there is a table enclosing a table of level-3, a space, and a
table enclosing a table of level-3
If you look at the second url,
the layout of level-2 is vertical while it should be horizontal as in
the first url example where the first level-3 table has been replace by
a text.
Why ?
Thanks for helping.

Is it possible to have the Main_Page to / (root) without having a special page?
I use Mediawiki as my main site. So, there is no point in have two pages http://mysite.com and http://mysite.com/Main_Page having the same content. I just want / to be my main page and ditch having another page for this.
Cheers,
Castor
Hi,
is it possible to configure category output, c.f. in a way that certain namespaces are not included?
Specifically, I would like to create category entries through templates, ie. every page using the template would be automatically in the respective category. The template itself, however, should not show up at the category page.
I searched extensions already but could not find anything appropriate so far. Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance
Bernhard
Is it possible to create an extension to change the internal link parser?
If not, anyone know where that is done in code?
In on of my frankenstein experiments Im looking at changing what the wiki considers a "red link"
Thanks,
-Adam
When a page is rendered by the parser, is that stored in the Data Base for cache? Or is it rendered every time it is loaded?
If it is stored, does anyone know what table it is stored in in the DB?
Thanks,
-Adam
