Dear Wikimedians,

We are happy to share that Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group is planning to organize this year's India version of Wikimedia Hackathon. A rapid grant proposal for the same has been submitted and is available on Meta WIki. Subject to the approval of the grant, we will open a call for participation for interested technical contributors to apply for scholarships to participate in this event.

We welcome any feedback and suggestions on welcoming newcomers into Wikimedia technical spaces, and experiences if you have conducted similar activities in the past.
