As part of growing a sustainable technical community around MediaWiki in India, a new mailing list has been created. You can subscribe to it at 

This is the first geographical MediaWiki list (rationale[1]) - and hence we're still experimenting with the scope. If topics being discussed on mediawiki-india would benefit from wider exposure, I'm sure they'll 'bubble up' to wikitech-l or mediawiki-l. I also think that a lot of talk about events that happen locally. It would also serve as a central mailing list for the new city-wide MediaWiki groups that form in India.

But honestly, I've no idea how this is going to be used :) So [[WP:BOLD]] and go wild :)
