I am not really sure if things like this are already hosted in translatewiki, but there are some very well known and awesome gadgets (i.e., Hotcat and Twinkle etcetera) are in use in many Wikimedia projects which could definitely use a valuable localization service.
Wondering if translatewiki can do anything about it at this point.

Gadgets currently do not support localization very well, but Timo and myself are working on a rewrite of the Gadgets infrastructure which, among other things, will make localization of Gadgets much easier to support.

By the way the last engineering report has something about this new infrastructure being on WMF Labs, so maybe some testing for i18n stuff may be appreciated. But I think Tanvir knows already.
