This is really really bad for our iPad product as it effectively kills it for our 200,000+ users. I'll bet many other clients are affected.

Is this a temporary server issue or something definitive? Can it be returned to normal at least for next few weeks?

I don't remember seeing any warnings on the list about this upcoming change either.
