Hi there,
I know how to get a list of the user groups to which a given user belongs. (I'm using action=query&list=users)
Is there a way to also fetch the time at which the user was added to those groups? I'm working specifically with Wikipedia.
If this data is unavailable through the API, does anyone know if it is available at all?

Only by checking the relevant permissions logs. If it was done locally, list=logevents with the right parameters should do it. If it was done by the stewards on Meta, you'll probably have to query against meta.wikimedia.org/w/api.php looking for "username@enwiki".

If you are trying to detect when someone was made a sysop note that old entries were in a differet log (done with MakeSysop extension).
