Thanks for your reply Jeroen. Is there no way I can configure the extension to use our proxy, or do you know of a geocoding service I can establish within our proxy?

Assuming you have the needed api key set correctly (the Google Maps one if you are using any Google Maps maps without explicitly specifying any geoservice), it's indeed probably the proxy you mention. I don't think there is a lot that can be done from the extensions side to solve such issues.
