Not sure if that'll the best place but I've added at <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mailing_lists/Administration#Lost_list_administrator_passwords> what listadmins should do if they loose their passwords. Maybe that helps for the future, but IMHO we shouldn't be hostile to the random request for help we receive at this list. Just my two cents.
