Hello,

Can anyone of the people who created this mailing list explain the reason why it was created and why I (and other people) was added here?

Usually people join mailing lists, but in this one it feels like that they were added without discussion or notification :D I would like to have some background and context to understand what is going on. I would really appreciate that.

Thank you in advance for your explanations.

Best regards,

Anass

Subject: Re: [List admins] Mailman3 upgrade beginning soon, action needed

Is there a technical reason which requires including the list domain ine name?

I would seem preferable by far to use instead:

and since all (?) our lists are using @list.wikimedia.org, it's not like we need the domain there to disambiguate it.

Cheers
