Thanks, I had forgotten they have this. I don't know how portable that template format is across our Wikimedia projects, but it may make sense to work on it.

Does it make sense to import MARC into OL to get template format out of it, or would that be absurd? That's more or less what we do with Google Books > IA > Commons.
