Federico,
is there a place where we can store all these infos, tools and links
regarding metadata and Wiki things?
On Meta? on wikisource.org? on wikidata?

Which OL tool are you talking about? Do you have
a link?
Sorry, should have included that ;-)
On any edition page, e.g.:
https://openlibrary.org/books/OL7183411M/The_adventures_of_Tom_Sawyer
down at the bottom right there are links to various citation formats.
Click on the Wikipedia Citation and you get:
Thanks, I had forgotten they have this. I don't know how portable that
template format is across our Wikimedia projects, but it may make sense to
work on it.
The HTML calling the script is at
https://github.com/
internetarchive/openlibrary/blob/c3f3b61999f020cecdfceeb22b8127
57e5e12e7f/openlibrary/templates/books/edition-show.html
Does it make sense to import MARC into OL to get template format out of
it, or would that be absurd? That's more or less what we do with Google
Books > IA > Commons.
