Any other friendly competitions going on out there?

Hello, all.

1Lib1Ref is a project to get each librarian to add 1 reference/citation to any Wikipedia article where there's a flag that one is needed.

There is a special drive going on Jan 15 - Feb 5 for this, and some Canadian librarians are organizing a friendly competition among their institutions. Last year, only Quebec institutions were involved but this year we're trying to make it Canada-wide.

See attached for a basic explanation and invitation to join.

Here is more info about the overall drive:

and you can use the Citation Hunt search box to find where citations are needed relating to particular topics that may be of interest to you:

If you would like your institution to participate, contact:

to get a "dashboard" for your institution created associated with this "program" (the program being the competition). Then one of you becomes the institution's admin for adding editors.

Each contributing editor will need to make their own wikipedia account if they don't already have one, and get it added to that dashboard so their edits get counted towards the competition.

For instance, here is the newly created dashboard for UPEI for this competition.
