Hello fellow Wikimedians, librarians, bibliophiles, and information enthusiasts,
In the past year or so we have been piloting different modes of participation in the campaign. In May 2021 we encouraged adding sources on Wikidata, in January 2022 we improved on that, added opportunities to create Wikidata items related to works on Wikisource, and added 9 new languages from the CEE on citation hunt. We are encouraging the addition of references to decrease gender bias on Wikipedia and 12 new languages from Africa, and Asia in the upcoming May round.
If you are already familiar with the campaign or editing on Wikipedia and would like to experiment a bit, we invite you to try our new contribution methods for advanced contributors in the May 2022 round.
