Hi everyone,

During October, we are promoting the Image Description Month. 🎉

On Friday, October 27, at 6:00 PM UTC, the Biodiversity Heritage Library is teaming up with OpenRefine and the Culture and Heritage team to host a data modeling workshop + demo using OpenRefine to clean and convert BHL's Flickr data to linked open data.

In this event, participants from the OpenRefine Train-the-Trainer course and editors interested in biodiversity are invited to analyze, discuss, model, and work on preparing the metadata of some Biodiversity Heritage Library images that were available on Flickr. The goal is to make these files ready to be used during the TTT course in November, but also to learn more about Structured Data on Commons.
