I am helping to organize a Wikipedia edit-a-thon on July 10, 2018 at Boston University Libraries.  In anticipation of the upcoming 2018 Wikimania Cape Town conference, our theme for this event will be the Global South: Bridging Knowledge Gaps.

 

We would like to have someone speak or share information on the topic of Wikipedia’s global gaps for no more than 10-15 minutes.  If you or someone you know is in the Boston area and interested in giving an informal intro to this topic, let me know.  In addition, if you have any links or videos to provide on this topic, feel free to share.
