This email is invite you to participate and provide feedback on a proposal that User:Diegodlh and myself (User:Scann) have put forward.

The proposal is to build Web2Cit: Visual Editor for Citoid Web Translators, a tool to help non-technical users create and edit Citoid web translators to increase website coverage of this citation metadata retrieval service.

Probably many of you have experienced that when using the visual editor and pasting a URL, sometimes the information doesn't come through correctly (for example, when trying to cite a newspaper or another website). This is caused by different issues in the services that are retrieving that information in the backend. Our proposal aims to solve some of those issues by allowing the community to give input in the services that are running in the backend.
