Hallo!
I am going through https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Open_requests_for_new_languages , project by project, letter by letter, up to ten requests per email, one email per day.
I am now working on Wikipedia, and today I'm handling the second batch of the letter M.
I took the liberty to delete two Wikipedia requests in the letter M: * Michif: Was created by a user who was later banned. There's no useful content in the Incubator, and I proposed to delete it. * Muniche: Created by a user who obviously doesn't know the language. The content in the Incubator is obvious gibberish, and I proposed to delete it.
As usual, no prejudice against new requests by serious people who know the language.
== Mara == Request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Mara Code: mrh My take: Eligible.
== Margi == Request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Margi Code: mrt My take: Eligible
== Masbateño == Request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Masbate... Code: msb My take: Delete. The request is generic, and the request creator is inactive and hasn't replied to the question I sent long ago: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Bosun
== Mongondow == Request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Mongond... Code: mog My take: Eligible. The request was created by an anonymous user, but there is some content in the Incubator that looks kind of reasonable, and the language code is OK.
