Arwi [1] is an Arabic script Tamil. While I tend to argue that there is a necessity to open a new project if we are not able to fulfill the needs of the native population by the conversion engines, this language variety is used for religious purposes, not for common education. Common Tamil [2] uses a Brahmic script.
I suggest rejection of the proposal [3] with a note that the monuments written in Arwi should be kept on Wikisource and, eventually, Tamil Wikisource, after its creation.
