Hi,
There's a new request: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Lampung...
The code is valid, and the language is living, but it may be very close to Komering (kge), in which there is a Wikipedia already. Or maybe it's a similar, but sufficiently distinct language in the same subgroup or dialect continuum or something. I'm not entirely sure.
See also a little discussion about it here: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Support&oldid=12887071#Request_t...
I'm inclined to mark it as eligible, but I welcome other opinions.

Ethnologue and Glottolog appear to agree on the independent language status of the variety, and the sources cited are seemingly sharing a consensus. I'd second your inclination.

Thanks for the response, Vito.
I've just forwarded an email with an early expert evaluation of the language's uniqueness, and the email says that it's unique enough.
Given that evaluation and no objection from the Language committee, I've marked the request eligible.
