You have probably already seen the announcement about the Wikinews closure on Wikimedia-l, the Wikimedia Foundation Board noticeboard on Meta-Wiki (with comments already), and the consultation page Talk:Public consultation about Wikinews on Meta-Wiki https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Public_consultation_about_Wikinews#Board_of_Trustees_Approves_Closure_of_Wikinews .

This includes all Wikinews currently in Incubator. Please update the LangCom pages to say that it no longer accepts applications to the new Wikinews projects opening.
