The "booklet" runs in the same vein as the website
https://sites.google.com/site/stundardtunsi/ which we looked at last
year (it bears the same logo "STUNdard"). I herewith repeat the review
of an independent Tunisian Arabic scholar which I elicited last year:
"[...] it looks, despite the claims made on the website ("this project
is not against any language"), to be an almost anti-Arabic project, out
of tune with the wider population in choice of script, and even then
showing both inconsistencies in writing, and writing allophones
according to how the sound would be written in French. Even the style of
Latin script is not how Tunisians write when doing so in Latin script -
there seems to be a nod to Maltese, and I, even with an awareness of how
Maltese works, had difficulty in reading it in places. Also they seem
to prefer technical terms from French than (even commonly used) ones
from Standard Arabic.
Chances of any of this being adopted... low. But thanks for the link!"
Consequently, I'm with Amir in rejecting Latin script for Tunisian Arabic.
Fwiw,
Oliver

It was four years ago and a lot has changed since then.
Again, the question of writing system is the first one that we need to
tackle.

Hoi,
At the time we asked for approval for eligibility. It was denied.
Thanks,

Nobody spoke about the Board yet.
First there's the question of writing system, on which the
Langcom has to agree.
I cannot support Latin until I see convincing sources that
it's useful to the speakers of this language.

Hoi,
In the past we accepted Egyptian Arabic. After that we
were told that Arabic will not be accepted.. So yes, we
can read this article but as long as the board does not
accept all the projects WE approve...
Thanks,
