GerardMThanks,Hoi,I do understand why we ask the board to comment. I have no such idea for a staff member. On 28 March 2015 at 10:42, Santhosh Thottingal <santhosh.thottingal@gmail.com> wrote:https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/langcom

Dear Santhosh & Langcom,
Thank you! Per a discussion among the Board: Let's update this process
so that it doesn't involve Board review. The language committee is more
than competent to make and confirm these decisions.
We could have a staff member get the same pings with a few days for
feedback; perhaps someone on the language team who is in a position to
comment and would want to get this timely update anyway. Lila is also
checking with the new community department to see what they think.
Warmly,
SJ

Hi Jan-Bart,
I am very pleased to inform that the Language committee proposes to
approve Wikipedia in Konkani.
Request page:

As usual, we will proceed in 4 days, if we don't hear anything to
the contrary from the Board.
Kind regards,
Santhosh and the Language committee
