Yes, It seems there is a good activity. I wanted to remind that this is Tulu written in Kannada script. The Tulu script is not encoded to Unicode yet. I am aware of the draft encoding proposal by Michael Everson - www.evertype.com/standards/iso10646/pdf/tulu.pdf

My understanding is, the community want it in Kannada script, since Tulu script is uncommon in usage. There are also a few comments about this at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Tulu

So there need to be discussion about the language code.
