I think we should cut our losses and move on. The project sees about 200 edits per month, and the majority of the top edited pages from last month was on recent deaths, all one-sentence pieces -- like this one. Sorry, I may be a bit biased here because I believe Wikinews is a failed project in its entirety, but in any case we would be right to expect a level of activity from its editions that exceeds what we would expect from other projects that can actually afford to be dormant.
