Ah - I sent the mail from my wikimedia.org account, but I'm subscribed with my gmail account.  That's why it was held for moderation; my oversight.

Gerard - perhaps someone on the Language team could fill that role (providing the very occasional comment). 

Alternately, you could have noone fill that role, and simply post a public update 1 week in advance, inviting comment from anyone.  That might even work better, as it would double as public communication.

Thank you!  Per a discussion among the Board: Let's update this process
so that it doesn't involve Board review. The language committee is more
than competent to make and confirm these decisions.

comment and would want to get this timely update anyway.  Lila is also
checking with the new community department to see what they think.
