A week ago, I'd say "okay, close it", or maybe I'd simply ignore this email, which would probably have the same effect.
Last Friday, however, after many years of not hearing anything about it, I heard from somebody who knows the language and is interested in being a contributor.
So let's give it, let's say, half a year, and see if something moves thanks to this person. If nothing substantial happens, let's close it
