I am obviously in favour of creating a new Wikisource for Hindi. I do however understand MF-Warburg's concern about different language version but this is not the forum for that.
Also, I don't think we shouldn't be thinking of Wikisource as a Wikipedia. While on Wikipedia, there is a need to remain updated on facts, Wikisource is completely different. We can have a good Wikisource without even having a large amount of regular editors because it's different. As a friend would say, Wikisource is a renewable resource. It would still be useful for people. This is also a discussion for another time.
For now, I strongly support creation of Hindi Wikisource.
