Greetings all,

I would like to introduce myself and my colleague, Jessica Robell; we work on the Wikimedia online fundraising team, on international campaigns.

We are currently preparing fundraising materials--specifically: appeal banners for desktop and mobile devices--that will be shown to anonymous Wikipedia readers (not logged in) across Latin America, starting in October. We would highly appreciate your help to review our appeals in Spanish and Portuguese. To clarify, we’re hoping to learn: Is the translation grammatically correct, appropriate, and does it read or feel natural and culturally relevant to a native speaker?

Below you can review the fundraising content (it is our best-performing copy across many countries). Please make any suggestions by clicking the pencil icon in the top right corner and selecting “suggesting”. Also feel free to leave comments directly in the doc(s):

Spanish/Latin America

Spanish/Argentina
Portuguese/Brazil

We would ideally like to have the reviewed material back in the next week or so, but please let us know if that timeline works for you.

Thank you in advance for your time,

Thea Skaff

P.S. If you have any trouble accessing the docs, contact me directly.
