Dear all, Perhaps there is a temporary log file for each batch? (Possibly this has been discussed before..) Sometimes some files in a batch are NOT uploaded and need special care...can be hard to find. Thanks, kind regards, hans muller

The only publicly available log is https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Log/gwtoolset . If you need to search that log for a specific file, or something, I can probably help with that. (There is also a job queue log which isn't publicly available. However it would probably not be very useful to you) --bawolff

This was discussed (last year I think). It would make for a good small improvement to GWT, especially if the user could tick a box and be emailed a results report. It is very frustrating when a minor flaw in your XML input file makes the GWT fall over and you have to debug without any immediate feedback. However, as far as I know there are no resources around to implement new features unless a volunteer (or a developer funded by a chapter) wants to take on the implementation and testing. Also, you should be advised, there was some sort of bug on commons where some files have their image description page missing, including a bunch of files for when you used gwtoolset and when user:Neuchâtel_Herbarium did. And they're now missing all the copyright data :S See https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Ilmari_Karonen/Queries/Zombie_images --bawolff

Thanks, we will take care of it as soon as the Neuchatel Herbarium is ready again, it looks like the GWToolset task could also lead to some " Error: 1205 Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction « Cheers Charles
