The tool is carefully transcribing " ' " as "'" on the assumption
that you want to literally display apostrophe marks. I used a
housekeeping script to convert "'''" to " ''' " *after*
GWT completed its job.
Unfortunately I did not work out a better solution. Embedding "<b>" in
your text is probably a bad idea for xml.
