Wikisource Reader v.1.3.0 is out on Google Play store - GLAM

      Hello all,
A new update (v.1.3.0) of the Wikisource Reader mobile application
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.cis_india.wsreader is
now released for Android users at the Google Play Store.
Here are the updates:
Bugs resolved:

   was not starting locally
   - T412043 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T412043: The
   Text-to-Speech icon was missing in the Play Store production release.
   - T409625 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T409625: Replaced
   confusing icon denoting years.
   - T409405 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T409405: Adjusted the
   overlapping top bar on the category screen.
New features:
- Books from the Arabic Wikisource project can now be read and filtered.
   - T406819 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T406819: Start reading
   immediately after download instead of “Go to library” button
   - T407311 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T407311: Sort the list of
   books alphabetically
   - T410595 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T410595: Sort the list of
   books in a randomized manner

   the library screen

- We now have Levy Muguro, an Outreachy intern who will dedicate his
   time to working on the application until early March 2026. His
   contributions can be tracked here:

   - T408915 https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T408915: Epubs generated
   for Bangla and French Wikisource projects have unwanted lines due to recent
   Parsoid updates. This also negatively affects the books in the app for
   these two languages.
