Dear all,

on Monday, I was notified that CERN have started to put some images
under Wikimedia-compatible licenses:
https://cds.cern.ch/search?ln=en&cc=Creative+Commons+Images+from+CERN&p=&rg=50 .

They are starting with a really small batch to test the ground (just
21 files right now, of which three are already up at
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Media_from_CERN )
but there is hope that this will be scaled up soon.
